About Bradoria
For nearly two decades, from a single Brooklyn storefront to six boutiques and a fitting practice, we have worked on a single problem — making lingerie that fits the bodies it was actually designed for.
What we believe
How it began
A bodysuit that was tight in the wrong places, expensive, and worn exactly once. Jenny Xu — Bradoria's founder — stood in front of the mirror and promised herself she would never pay to feel like that again.
She tried a slimming injection she had heard about — the kind people whispered about as a shortcut. It triggered a hormonal disorder instead. That same year, almost by accident, she walked into a Hong Kong lingerie boutique and met the first piece of underwear that let her body relax. Shapewear.
She brought it back to the US. The first storefront opened on 8th Avenue in Brooklyn — one small room, two fitting curtains, and the conviction that fit was the entire product. Today the practice is six boutiques, a dedicated fit team, and a brand named after the work itself.
The timeline
A bad bodysuit, a quiet vow not to settle for it again.
A Hong Kong boutique, the first piece that actually fit.
Brooklyn, 5003 8th Avenue. Founded as Make Body.
"Bra" for the product. "Doria" — Greek for "the sea."
Five in NY, one in CA. 15+ certified fit specialists.
On the name
In Greek, "doria" means "the sea" — soft, deep, capable of carrying weight, with a direction of its own. We thought of the women we already had in our fitting rooms. We put "Bra" first because the product is what we promise to do well.
Two systems, one promise
High-end Italian shaping yarn combined with multi-point pressure mapping and ring-effect redistribution. Light sculpting — designed for daily wear, not extremes.
A method our specialists use in every boutique: five body measurements, three lifestyle inputs, the fit consultant's eye — combined into one recommendation.
